Thank you.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to everyone who came to see (or supported in any way) Diving Normal over the past 2 months. Word can’t describe how both challenging and fulfilling this experience was, and it means the world that our little show stretched out as far as it did.

We hope everyone has a fantastic holiday next week - we are thankful for you.

A few more great photos of the talkback Saturday night with Ashlin Halfnight from our friend Gari Lamar Askew II.

See all our photos from the talkback on our Facebook page.

Tickets for our 3 remaining shows are going fast - just a handful left for tonight (Wednesday) and Sunday and Saturday is just about sold out already.

As always, in the event we sell out of any night, if you’d like, you can place your name on the wait list and we’ll notify you of any cancellations or released tickets.

Mr. Crowe is thrilling to watch because you can actually see the internal machinery working: the lonely, brilliant outcast who struggles to relate to people, combined with the child who is still testing the boundaries of relationships. A fascinating performance.

Just before we head into our first weekend of shows, meet Scotty Crowe, who plays Gordon.
1 - Hometown?Jekyll Island, GA
2 - Thing you miss most from there?Sweet Tea and Pork Chop Sandwiches3 - Favorite thing to do in LA on a day off?Run, food, and football down on The Strand4 - When/why did you last visit New York? This March, to visit my brand new nephew (coolest kid in the world as long as his parents aren’t forcing him into a Yankee onesie).  I love LA, but I have nights where I’d do anything to be in New York. 5 - What has been the most interesting part of playing your character?Where to start…the first thing that struck me about Gordon was how he expresses himself (or doesn’t, as the case may be), and how that affects the way people understand him (or don’t, as the case may be). Also, the role brought up an interesting question to me: do we fill our lives with “stuff” because we’re passionate about those things, or is it to simply get us through time that would otherwise be spent alone? This experience has been a challenge in the best of ways, and I couldn’t be more thankful for opportunity and support that allowed me to take on such a role.

Crowe delivers a performance of absolute subtlety and grace… in Crowe’s hands, Gordon is so absolutely loveable, and the actor imbues him with such sincerity, warmth, and utter guilelessness, that we believe him, we embrace him…
